There isn't a Zara store where I (or most American ladies) live. I think the closest one is in DC. I've never even been to a brick-and-mortar Zara store, because I've heard it's essentially a
more-expensive-because-it's-Spanish Forever 21. More expensive? Yes. Forever 21? Hardly.
I was browsing some less-expensive websites looking for cozy sweaters, when I discovered exactly how cool Zara is. I found leopard print pointed-toe flats! I'm snapping those babies up as soon as I deposit my next paycheck (which seems like 10 million lightyears away when you're drooling over something, let's be honest).

our Zara here in Sydney just opened up this past fall and it IS a ridiculously priced and way too overcrowded Forever 21, what they're asking for such poorly made garments is repulsive and are equal to that of Forever 21 in the US. a friend of mine whose shopped at Zara in Europe said that Sydney's store seems like the outlet of things Europeans refused to buy
ReplyDeleteWow!! Good to know about the actual quality of their clothes - I guess gorgeous photos can truly make you lust after almost anything. Like how food always looks more delicious & seems better prepared in commercials than it does IRL.
